What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Mental Health Therapist position at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health?
Primary Objective:
Best Point is seeking an individual that delivers an array of services which meet the individualized mental health needs of adult caregivers. Performs a variety of functions in multiple settings, (including office, telehealth, home, and community) displaying an understanding of family dynamics, cultural preferences, and community environments. Delivers services to client and/or any other individual who will assist in the client’s mental health treatment.

Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:
This position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of one year of clinical experience in working with children and families. Certification (PC, LSW, MFT, PCC, LMFT or LISW) required. LISW, PCC or IMFT strongly preferred. Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
Work Environment:
Exposed to office, community, and home environments. Exposed to adults with mental health diagnoses and associated children. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive.

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely in changing weather conditions required.
