What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Administrative Assistant, Butler County position at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health?
Best Point is seeking an individual that performs administrative functions including: cross training with other education administrative employees, supporting building functions and events, client enrollment, maintenance of cumulative client records, report card processing, scheduling meetings and maintenance of client information in all related department client information software systems. In addition, this role is responsible for providing administrative support to the education program.
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency with a minimum of two years professional experience in an office environment. In addition, this position requires a minimum of 3 years experience living or working with individuals with disabilities. Computer experience, word-processing and good organizational skills required. Minimum 40 wpm typing skill. Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications. Experience in an educational setting strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to clients with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who are upset.
