Job Title: Administrative/Billing Assistant
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and billing support to the organization.
- Demonstrate expertise in mental health billing processes, including insurance verifications, claim submissions, and follow-up on claim denials.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with mental health billing practices is highly desirable.
- Proficient in computerized systems for record-keeping and documentation.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively engage with individuals, families, and team members.
- Exceptional ability to coordinate projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Capable of managing calendars and scheduling appointments effectively.
