Job Summary
Best Products (www.bpsands.com), an ATM and financial equipment sales & service provider is seeking an energetic and motivated candidate to fill an open PART TIME position within our on-site service department.
Industry Experience is NOT required however ideal candidate will be used to problem solving, working with their hands, mechanically inclined, fit and able.
JOB SUMMARY We have an excellent opportunity for an on site service technician. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of ATM machines, teller cash dispensers/recyclers, coin machines and various other cash handling products.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities may include: installations, repair and maintenance of equipment, customer training, on site and in house via phone.
Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking energetic candidates who meet the following criteria. Please thoroughly read everything in bold:
- Retired Military/ VET Ideal
- MUST live in Western Nassau County/ Queens/ Brooklyn/ Bronx. Please do not apply if you live out of these areas as you will not be considered.
- Candidates must have a reliable vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CAR- DO NOT APPLY!
- Candidates must complete Skills Tests: Phone interview & Mechanical knowledge. Failure to complete both tests will result in immediate rejection.
- Energetic, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- 1 years of related experience preferred but not necessary
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
- Proven proficiency with PC’s and windows based operating systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The willingness and ability to travel locally on a daily basis. Typical travel within a 100 mile radius of Floral Park by use of personal vehicle.
- A valid driver's license, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to pass drug test
- Required to travel, or be on the road servicing equipment at clients 90% of the time
- Ability to lift, push or carry a minimum of 90 or more pounds to deliver equipment to clients
- 50% of the job requires kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting and squatting to service equipment on the ground
- Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time while servicing equipment
- Associates Degree or equivalent military or trade school preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
