Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our dynamic site work team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support excavation, grading, and related tasks on construction sites. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for site preparation, trenching, backfilling, and material movement.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and safety checks on equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Follow site plans and specifications while working closely with supervisors and team members.
- Load and unload materials efficiently and safely, while preventing damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and address any unexpected challenges.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar heavy equipment role.
- Valid operator certifications and applicable licenses (as required by state/local regulations).
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read site plans and work with precision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and meet the physical demands of the job.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
