Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with clients and team members.
- Compassionate approach towards working with children and individuals facing behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with best practices in behavioral therapy is a plus.
