Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving breakfast items to our guests. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Duties

• Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring it is clean and well-stocked throughout service hours.
• Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any items that do not meet safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by following proper sanitation procedures.
• Handle catering requests as needed, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of food items.
• Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including knives for food preparation and meat cutting when necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
• Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently, including meat cutting if required.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
