Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Night Auditor to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment for two nights a week.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for communication with guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is very much preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Multilingual abilities are desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
