What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry - Janitorial position at Best Western Cooperstown?
We're looking for a Laundry/Janitorial person who is motivated and attentive. Responsibilities include keeping the hotel's public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. You will be responsible for collecting, treating, washing, drying, and folding laundry. You will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities and bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by housekeeping and maintenance managers. Weekends are required.
Compensation:$16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests
- Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor
- Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
