What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Equipment Technician position at Best Western Corpus Christi?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address equipment malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Utilize logic controllers and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed repairs and parts used.
- Supervise equipment installations and upgrades.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.
Experience:
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and logic controllers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer service skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
