What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Breakfast Attendant - Part Time position at Best Western Firestone Inn and Suites Firestone?
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and customer service related breakfast attendant to work at our hotel's breakfast. This person would greet guests, warm up breakfast items, restock breakfast buffet, keep ding area clean, etc. The hours would be from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. Please see below.
- Dress in a professional manner and always wear an apron and a name tag. Black pants and a black shirt is best. No tank tops or casual items.
- Communicate with Front Desk to find out occupancy levels of hotel, so you can properly prepare for the Breakfast Rush.
- Greet guests as they enter the breakfast area. Some possible greetings:
“Good morning. How are you today?”
“Good morning. I just brewed a fresh pot of coffee. Please help yourself.”
“Good morning. Please help yourself to your breakfast.”
Continue to interact with guests, converse with the guests, and smile, smile, smile. Be very present and available in the Breakfast Room during Breakfast Hours.
- Prepare all items necessary for breakfast
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Clean and stock all breakfast and pantry items
- Clean and wipe tables after guests leave so that they breakfast room is always clean and tidy; nicely move chairs back to fit under tables.
- Clean and wipe down all equipment on breakfast counters and in breakfast room.
- Clean equipment and appliances in breakfast pantry.
- Clean breakfast room, pantry and all areas around breakfast.
- Place all trash in trash dumpster
- Make note of any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Keep an active inventory list so we can properly order the necessary items by the necessary due dates.
- Turn in comment cards to Front Desk
- Greet every guest that you encounter with excitement and a smile
- Offer to assist the guests in any way you can
