Job Title: Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary: You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests’ cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated self- starter with hospitality experience.

Job Duties:

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours

• Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary

• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage

• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly

• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently

• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment

• Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous hotel-related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events.
• Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
• Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.
• Skilled in the use of kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
