We seek a Guest Service Agent who is passionate about making a good stay great and willing to work together to get the job done. We are pleased to offer you a sign-on bonus of $1,000.00. This bonus will be paid in two installments:
- $500.00 will be paid after the successful completion of 45 work days (days on which you actually perform work) with CHM Hotels.
- $500.00 will be paid after the successful completion of 90 work days (days on which you actually perform work) with CHM Hotels.
JOB SUMMARY
The Guest Service Agent assists hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements and collecting payments from departing guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests and checkout guests following established Company procedures and policies; ensure that all guests sign a guest registration card and provide a credit card or other method of payment
- Communicate all hotel policies to guests and answer any questions regarding policies
- Be familiar with room locations, types of rooms, and room rates
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls, take messages, and schedule/change reservations
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining,
- entertainment, and travel directions
- Communicate guest needs and facility issues to housekeeping and/or maintenance staff
- Resolve guest issues quickly, efficiently, courteously and professionally, and refer issues to management when necessary
- Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE - EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency with OPERA preferred
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry with brand experience preferred
