Schedule: Thursday and Friday 5am-12pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am-1pm.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items to guests in a warm and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure that our guests start their day off right.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked.
- Serve breakfast items to guests, providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, utensils, and food stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including cooking and arranging food items for display.
- Monitor food quality and safety standards, adhering to dietary guidelines where applicable.
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions with guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with banquet service practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
