What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at BEST WESTERN PLUS ClockTower Inn?
We do things a little differently here. We don't believe in micro managing and have digitized a large portion of our operation for housekeeping. You come in at 9am and on a typical day you are done around 4-5pm.
TYPICAL DAY as a Room Attendant:
- 12 to 14 rooms per day. 30 Minutes or less per room, with 3 minutes in-between rooms.
- Wipe all surfaces, dust, and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards.
- Change linens: make beds and restock all guest room supplies.
- Clean bathrooms: remove trash and sanitize fixtures.
- Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
- Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective, or missing items.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
- Regularly bend, lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 25 pounds. Above and beyond the physical we are looking for a warm, people-oriented person with a team-first attitude that has a gift for paying attention to the smallest details.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop and carry for prolonged periods of time as customary in a housekeeping role.
- Must be able to push up to 75 lbs., lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
