What you will be doing

The Best Western GranTree Inn is seeking a Sales Coordinator. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy a challenge and fast paced environment working with clients and our hotel team to achieve hotel, event center, and restaurant revenue goals.

As the Sales Coordinator, you will work closely with clients to provide the highest level of service to maintain their guestroom and event space needs. Further, the sales coordinator communicates these needs to our operations team to ensure a top-notch service delivery that wows every guest.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Communicate with clients to provide support, answer questions, and generate billing needs.
  • Coordinate and organize sales meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintain, compile and distribute accurate records of sales leads, customer interactions, and sales data.
  • Create and distribute sales materials, such as presentations, brochures, and samples.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest service needs are exceeded.
  • Conduct research and weekly quota of cold calls to identify potential new customers.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor and report on sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team as needed.

Fundamentals

A high school degree or equivalent education is required, with a college degree helpful. Clear, effective verbal and written English communication skills are essential. This position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail. The ability to operate a telephone, computer, and various software is expected, with Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge helpful. A general understanding of sales operations is also helpful.
