Responsibilities:
- Check cleanliness of all checkout rooms and stayover service if needed.
- Oversee room scheduling, as well as long-term recurring schedules such as carpet cleaning and deep cleans.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment. Equip trainers to handle training new staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor review scores daily.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role preferred. Previous housekeeping experience required.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including floor care
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and other departments
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for cleanliness and presentation
