Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, or industrial facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to ensure all rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Provide excellent hospitality by responding to guest requests or inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
