Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper. In this dual-role position, you will provide exceptional service to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable stay and a welcoming breakfast experience. Shifts will vary between breakfast and housekeeping responsibilities, depending on scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities:Breakfast Attendant Duties (5:00 AM Start)
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, including food preparation and beverage stations, ensuring all items are stocked and replenished.
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing questions or needs promptly.
- Ensure the breakfast area is clean and tidy throughout service, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Monitor food quality and safety, following all health and sanitation guidelines.
- Close down the breakfast area, including cleaning and storing food and supplies, and preparing for the next day.
Housekeeping Duties (9:00 AM Start)
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.
- Work efficiently to complete daily room assignments and other housekeeping tasks as directed
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and utensils.
Working Conditions
- Schedule: Early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Environment: Work is performed in a hotel setting, primarily in the breakfast area and kitchen.
