Duties
- Clean and launder various items, including sheets, towels, and uniforms, using appropriate washing techniques and detergents.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize laundered items for easy distribution to designated areas.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
