Head Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and hotel management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service. As the Head Housekeeper, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and foster a positive work environment for your team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on best practices in custodial care and floor maintenance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the hotel or facility.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance and inventory levels.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with experience in training and developing team members.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
