Maintenance Person

Best Western Plus Tree House is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team in beautiful Mount Shasta, California. In this role, you will ensure our facilities are well-maintained and provide a safe, comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Assist with residential painting and other cosmetic improvements to enhance guest experience.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance projects and address urgent issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or similar roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong skills in residential painting and general repair work.
• Basic understanding of logic controllers and schematics is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to building maintenance is preferred.
