Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment for washing, drying, and pressing various items including linens and garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring items are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues accordingly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of the importance of presentation and cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
