Job Title: Banquet Server
Direct Report: Banquet Captain
Job Summary: The Banquet Server is responsible for meeting all the BEO requirements for a specific function. The Banquet Server is expected to communicate consistently with the Banquet Captain and their guests to ensure the service, and overall guest experience meets the standards set forth by the Best Western Premier, the Central Hotel.
Indicators of Success:
- Guest Satisfaction & Loyalty Medallia, Trip Advisor, Comment Cards, Annual QA
- Team Building & Satisfaction Reduce & Maintain Turnover, Culture, Training & Development
- Organization and execution of said events.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Communicates with Catering Manager & Banquet Supervisor for any schedule changes or BEO changes for their function.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings.
- Follow through on task assignment.
- Participate in post function clean-up
- Provide positive feedback and ways to improve department to Banquet Supervisor.
- Review event function sheets and have a thorough understanding of all requirements on scheduled events.
- Obtain equipment and supplies needed for a specific event, ensuring that they meet customer expectations and requirements.
- Periodically check with Guest to ensure satisfaction and respond to any requests.
- Participate in the breakdown and clean up after the event prior to departure. Account for all equipment and supplies. Return all items to storage areas. Return or arrange for return of rented materials
