Job Summary: Ensures the cleanliness and attractive appearance in the guest accommodations and public spaces in accordance with hotel standards. Inspects all rooms and ensures deficiencies are reported and corrected. Requirements:
Job Duties:
- Supervises and inspects the work of the room attendants, ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and attractive appearance of guest rooms and public spaces. Updates the front desk and OPERA property management system when rooms are clean, vacant, and ready for occupancy.
- Completes room attendant assignments as directed by the executive housekeeper or rooms division manager.
- Creates a service environment focused on the guest, with a passion for high standards in all work performed. Responds promptly to guest needs.
- Ensures housekeepers have the proper and necessary equipment and supplies.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and develops alternative solutions.
- Reports needed repairs to maintenance via the Alice Platform.
- Performs room attendant duties, when required.
- Ensure organization of all housekeeping storage closets.
- Works scheduled shift until job is completed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years prior hotel housekeeping experience. Supervisory experience desired.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
