Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to support our management team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a knack for negotiation, and the ability to handle even challenging customer service situations efficiently. The AGM will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure superior guest satisfaction, and support the General Manager in strategic planning and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks and decision-making processes.
- Oversee staff performance, providing training and support as needed.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop sales strategies that meet company goals.
- Assist in managing hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle escalated concerns professionally.
- Oversee financials, budgeting, and revenue management to optimize profitability .
- Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency and service standards .
- Lead and motivate staff, ensuring strong teamwork and a positive work environment .
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and stakeholders for seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel regulations, safety policies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in customer service.
- 3 years of hospitality experience in any position.
- 1 years of hospitality management experience, (preferable, but not required)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Visual Matrix, PMS systems)
- Knowledge of revenue management and budgeting principles.
