Duties
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines, to clean and finish linens and garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron various items according to established procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of all laundry items while following safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring high standards of quality are met.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to fulfill laundry requests promptly and efficiently.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality assurance.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
