BEST WESTERN WATERTOWN, WI
We are looking to hire a front desk associate.
Hours: Weekends are required but not all. Flexible shifts.
Expect 4-5 shifts per week for full time. OR 2-3 Shifts per week for part time.
JOB OVERVIEW:Check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
Wage will be dependent on experience with first raise after 3 months depending on performance evaluation.
Applicants must have held a steady job in the past and must have some type of customer service experience to be considered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent,
- Must speak fluent English.
- Friendly and hospitality focused
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Required to work weekends and/or holidays.
THIS JOB REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:
- Excellent communication skills that will make our guests feel welcomed at our hotel.
- Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office area
- Remain stationary for extended periods of time
- Handling computer equipment
- Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.
- Spanish is not required but recommended
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work night audit shifts if required
