Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all guest rooms are well-prepared for arrivals.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Address guest requests promptly and courteously to enhance their experience.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed, including floor care and industrial cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to perform floor care duties effectively, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
