ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ensure proper packaging material is available to match production schedule
- Inspect product for quality defects
- Package product according to specifications
- Stack fully packaged product on pallets and wrap full pallets according to specifications and identify with proper ticket
- Communicate packaging and quality problems to leadership
- Count, weigh, and report scrap
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Ensure work area is clean and orderly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (complete cGMP SOP training, email use)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Repetitively lift 35 lbs. – 50 lbs.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Strong time management, teamwork, problem solving, and organization skills
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written,
- with internal staff and management.
- Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year machine operator experience
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- FDA Experience
- Certified Production Technician through NCMI
- Technical and/or system knowledge level (basic, intermediate, advanced, mastery).
