Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Assemble and build plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Read blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as needed for various projects.
- Participate in field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
- Support remodeling projects by installing new piping systems or fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are accounted for.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn more advanced skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina, as the role may require lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
