We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to install, configure, and optimize COTS / GOTS / FOSS software, libraries, and packages for a large HPC Linux computing environment. This role also involves software development and supporting a data storage solution for the High Performance Computing Organization. Required Skills :

• 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts using Bash / Python and programming in Python and Java within a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI / CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
• Expertise in installing, configuring, and supporting COTS / GOTS / FOSS software, libraries, and packages (e.g., Spark, Arkouda).
• Experience using system monitoring tools like Grafana / Prometheus and Git version control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.
• Required Security Clearance : TS / SCI w / Poly Desired Skills :
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Salary Range : $165,000 - $210,000
