Position: Director of Nursing

Job Type: Full-Time (FTE)

Location: Vancouver-WA

Base Salary: $111,000 to $150,000 Best-in-class benefits

Key Responsibilities:

* Support and promote the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care.

* Supervise and mentor the nursing management team to ensure high-quality patient care.

* Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

* Prepare and present monthly reports on nursing operations and patient care.

Qualifications:

* Education: Must possess a postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field, or demonstrate the knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree. Alternatively, candidates must have a written plan to obtain these qualifications. Related fields may include healthcare administration or business administration.

Licensure:

*Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

Certifications:

*CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) are required within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact.

Preferred Experience:

* Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.

* Expertise in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

* Strong leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.

Skills and Certifications:

*Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

*Active WA RN License

*Prior Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health experience.

*Prior Inpatient Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health leadership experience required.
