In this role, a Project Engineer will bring:
Blend of Technical and Project Responsibilities:
* Oversees testing, process improvements, and supplier changes.
* Reviews drawings, technical data, and supports corrective actions.
* Assists in implementation of engineering projects while working alongside the Program Manager.
Engineering-Focused Tasks:
* Conducts research on new materials and processes.
* Leads failure analysis and works on continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean and Six Sigma).
* Supports testing, particularly ballistics testing and analysis.
Supportive Role in Larger Projects:
* Supports project implementation rather than leading full-scale projects.
* Collaborates with teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), indicating a technical support focus.
