Base Salary: $80,000 to $110,000 Best-in-class benefits
Job Description:
*We are a growing accounting, tax, and consulting firm dedicated to getting better every day.
*We are currently looking to add progressive Senior Tax Accountants to our Tax team. The ideal candidate will be a team player first and foremost and help our tax department grow! We are looking for Tax Senior Associates to join our expanding Tax Department.
*The ideal candidate is a CPA or a CPA candidate with 2 plus years public accounting experience, including at least 2 busy seasons and mandatory tax experience.
*Tax experience ranging from individual and corporate tax knowledge and tax planning, research, review, consulting, and IRS examinations is needed.
*Outstanding technical ability and oral and written communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Provide supervision, training and support to the engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement partner and manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Tax, Accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA Candidate (120 hours completed)
• 2 plus years public accounting experience, including at least 2 busy seasons. Tax experience mandatory
• Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude are essential
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Develops and maintains outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
Education:
• Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
• Tax experience: 2 years
License/Certification:
• CPA (Highly preferred)
