Automation / Controls Technician / Installer
Our client is seeking an experienced Automation / Controls Technician / Installer to support Building Automation System (BAS) installations. This role will involve mounting control components, installing low voltage wiring, performing terminations, conducting system start-ups, and troubleshooting systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building automation systems, possess a CT E2 or L6 License, and demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality installations and service.
Key Responsibilities :
- BAS Installation :
Mount and install control components, including sensors, thermostats, and controllers, as part of Building Automation System (BAS) installations.
Conduct system start-ups, verifying proper functioning and calibration of all components.
Diagnose and repair issues with BAS components, wiring, and controls.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate installations.
Ensure installations comply with local codes and regulations, particularly electrical codes.
Qualifications :
Must hold a valid CT E2 or L6 License .
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and system specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
