About the Job
Quality Inspector is a key role in our Manufacturing Client. To be considered for this position, applicants need 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of sub-assemblies and final systems assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
- Create inspection work instructions for all products.
- Compile final document and data packages per specific customer requirements.
- Develop/implement new systems/methodology for quality reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing defect data to drive corrective actions.
- Interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, and wiring diagrams to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Programs, including strong proficiency in Excel.
- At least 5 years of quality inspection experience in high-tech manufacturing.
- Previous experience using manufacturing systems such as Agile and Oracle.
- Able to work independently and take initiative in establishing new processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively across functions.
- Prior experience in fiber manufacturing or quality control.
- Prior technical writing experience.
- Able to perform first article inspections on fabricated parts (optional).
