The Brand Designer helps to create and develop visual conceptual solutions for Bestway and Bestway brands (packaging, branding, style guides, marketing and advertising materials). This role works collaboratively within a team of designers and copywriters, as well as other cross-functional teams. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person will create design concepts working with direction from Project Managers, Design Manager and Director of Brand Design. This person must have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Produce compelling and strong branded designs in print (and sometimes digital) solutions that meet project initiatives/objectives
- Work collaboratively with Director of Brand Design and other managers to create branded assets (logo design, packaging design, style guides, catalogs)
- Support execution of Bestway and Bestway brand packaging standards
- Develop and maintain brand style guides (typography, photography, color, iconography, assets, etc.)
- Contribute to design projects from concept through completion to create production-ready artwork
- Ensure artwork files are appropriately layered and organized for final print production
- Understand individual Bestway brands to create cohesive designs across multiple platforms (packaging, marketing, digital)
- Assists in the creation of Marketing tools (catalogs, sales tools, advertisements, tradeshow displays, etc.)
- Create physical mock-ups of packaging and other projects as needed
- Maintain open communication with team on status of projects
- Stay current with design trends and best practices
- Is open to and takes direction from senior team members and translates that direction into action
- Maintain and correctly archive current and past artwork
- Communicates with International teams in Shanghai and Europe to establish rapport and standards
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Requirements

- Possess an exceptional eye for design aesthetics (color theory, typography, composition)
- Detail-oriented to ensure design consistencies and cohesiveness across multiple platforms and large documents (packaging, style guides, catalogs)
- Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving with the ability to generate multiple solutions through creative concepts
- Able to support creative ideas with fact- or research-based rationale
- Communicate effectively, clearly presenting ideas and creative solutions to gain understanding and support
- Knowledge of standard print practices to properly setup files for production
- Shows business maturity through presence, behavior and work-ethic
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, participate as a team player, share information and inspiration
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field
- 3 years of graphic design experience with an emphasis on branding and packaging.
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and eye for detail
- Effective and clear communication skills
- Professional knowledge of packaging and brand design.
- Knowledge of standard print practices

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
