Tow Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles to designated locations. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively in high-pressure situations.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, including breakdowns and accidents.
• Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while interacting with customers.
• Familiarity with towing equipment and procedures.
• Capability to load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in various situations encountered on the road.
