Summary/Objective:
As the Clinical Support Specialist, you are responsible for the remote clinical support of Beta Bionics products and services within your assigned geography. You are responsible for managing the remote training journey for people with diabetes. You will be the main point of contact for the educational needs of iLet users. In partnership with Customer Support, you will be asked to assist in supporting iLet users who reach out to Customer Support and would benefit from additional clinical support. You will work along with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to support remote training needs within their respective territories. This role requires that you work well in a collaborative environment with the ability to influence cross-functional team success. You must have strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. You will operate with high standards that are aligned to our Certified B-Corp values and with a passion to serve people living with diabetes and our communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Ability to properly asses ability of patient to complete training remotely safely and effectively.
- Manages, conducts, and supports the remote training journey for people with diabetes.
- Demonstrates strong teaching and training ability for providers and people with diabetes.
- Maintains compliant communication/documentation with team through Salesforce.com.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates empathy with a passion to serve people with diabetes.
- Stands out as a Health Coach – sees the person with diabetes holistically.
- Demonstrates effective planning and organization skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Responsible for maintaining remote training metrics as outlined by the Director of Clinical Services.

Work Location:
- Five days a week, Monday through Friday, in the San Diego Office
Required Education and Experience
- RN or RD
- CDCES required
- Acceptable licenses: APRN, NP, PA
- Minimum requirement of 3 years diabetes experience
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years diabetes experience
- Remote diabetes device training experience
- Preferred industry experience
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with co-workers.
- This position requires travel depending upon business needs.
- This position requires the ability to sit/stand at desk for several hours while performing iLet trainings.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $80,000
