Responsibilities:
- Lead corridor studies, streetscapes projects, complete streets, traffic calming, and shared streets
- Manage mobility and safety projects for people of all ages/abilities and all transportation modes
- Analyze transportation data, identify improvement measures, and steer concept plans
- Prepares client contracts, subconsultant and subcontractor agreements and amendments
- Maintain relationships with existing clients while also fostering new client relationships
- Leverage existing and future conditions for municipal master plans, traffic, pedestrian, bicycle and transit data to promote future projections/proposals
- Ensures client deliverables are in accordance with our agreement terms, client requirements, and the agreed upon schedule
- Follow up on financial aspects of projects including monitoring budgets, effective multipliers, profit, unbilled amounts, and accounts receivable
- Be the subject matter expert on socio-economic and environmental justice data
- Facilitating public meetings, workshops, and community outreach to gather feedback and build consensus on transportation projects
- Collaborate with other project managers/clients on complex planning and design projects
- Mentor staff and contributes to career development efforts
- Comprehend and be cognitive of contract risks and language
- Ensures company and client QA/QC procedures are followed
- Engage in internal/external meetings
- Performs other duties, as assigned

Skills Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree, advanced degree
- 15 years of experience in transportation planning, including project management and data analysis
- Possess strong business acumen and develop growth strategies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Motivates staff, project teams and subconsultants
- Maintains strong client relationships, trust, and secures repeat work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Proficient with complete streets, traffic calming, streetscape, transportation safety, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit planning practices
- Public engagement experience
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments
- Must be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
