BGS, a leading services provider of beta rays for radiation sterilization, is currently staffing US-based operations with immediate opportunity at our new production facility in Imperial, PA.
We are seeking an Office Administrator with a proven background performing broad key administrative functions who would flourish in an exciting and collaborative growth environment. This function is fully onsite. In this position, you will play a vital role with the startup organization and processes, working with a growing team!
What you will do:
- Office Administration: Responsibility for a variety of office tasks including mail, supplies, and managing correspondence, files, and records.
- Bookkeeping: Processing of customer and supplier invoices, issuing payments, tracking expenses, and managing receivables / dunning.
- Purchasing: Obtaining quotations for products and services; negotiating pricing, terms and contracts; issuing purchase requisitions and purchase orders; monitoring of open orders and delivery dates.
- Management Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, travel, trade show support, etc.
- Sales Support: Assist with processing inquiries, customer POs, order tracking and issues resolution.
- HR Support: May assist with onboarding, training and employee communication.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar role. Experience with bookkeeping and customer service is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Positive and professional demeanor.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office required. Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems is a big plus.
- Travel: No travel is required.
