Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of products using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits to assess adherence to quality management systems and procedures.
- Analyze inspection results and provide detailed reports on findings, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures in accordance with company policies.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance and control, including ISO 9001 and FDA regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies such as QA/QC practices.
- Experience using Calypso software for measurement analysis is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations related to product quality and safety is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and tools for accurate assessments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively and make informed decisions regarding product quality.
