Responsibilites:
- Experience Installing VIOS and creating VIO server Lpars on P8, P9, and P10 hardware
- Experience Installing and creating VIO client Lpars on P8, P9, and P10 hardware
- Experience troubleshooting VIO physical to virtual mappings including SEA’s and Virtual HBA’s.
- Experience creating SVC Host definitions
- Experience creating SVC luns and mapping LUNs to SVC hosts
- Experience with SVC metro mirroring for AIX hosts
- Experience troubleshooting AIX SAN issues including SAN zones, SVC host definitions, SVC LUN mappings, and VIO virtual to physical FCS mappings
Nice to have:
- Experience cabling Network and SAN cables on P8, P9, and P10 Frames
- Experience configuring SEA adapters in a dual VIO configuration
- Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading HMC
- Experience configuring LPM to move AIX lpars between P8, P9, and P10 frames
