The Opportunity
The Java Developer position will implement and support enterprise level software solutions for Mediant Communications Inc. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a small technical team to analyze understand and implement business requirements. Candidates must have strong skills in architecting Java software solutions, query writing, and stored procedure development.
Key Details of the Opportunity:
• Position: Apprentice.
• Eligibility: Graduates of the 2023 / 2024 batch.
• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (5 days office).
• Start Date: Immediate.
• Duration: 1 year, depending on program.
• Career Path: Potential for full-time employment based on performance.
What You’ll Do
- Produce design specifications from provided business requirements.
- Develop and present technical implementation plans.
- Implement software solutions meeting corporate coding standards.
- Analyze applications, provide solutions for performance issues, solve complex problems.
- Provide support to QA department during both internal and external product testing.
- Perform developer testing ensuring delivery of accurate and reliable product delivery to QA.
Specialized Knowledge
- Good Experience and good knowledge of developing Java software.
- Good understanding of J2EE application development experience (Servlets/JSP, JDBC, JavaMail, XML, XSLT, Velocity, Spring)
- Experience in web technologies including HTML, JavaScript (React JS), CSS, AJAX
- Knowledge of relational database experience (Preferably MSSQL/TSQL)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot software application.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and AWS will be an added advantage.
