Position Overview of the Associate, Client Support Services - Mutual Fund, Annuities, & Alternative Investments:
As an Associate, Client Support Services on our Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Team, you will be responsible for answering and resolving inquires, following our Incident Management Protocol when we have a system issue or interruption in service, and supporting business and system functionality. You will be responsible for learning this functional area and supporting it as part of a team. The Associate, Client Support Services representative will work closely and communicate with technical and business associates throughout our organization and within our clients' organizations. In addition, you will work with vendors to solve any issues or questions for our mutual clients. This position requires a high degree of customer service skill as our goal is to provide world class customer service.
You will support the business and system functionality for mutual funds, alternative investments, and annuities (order processing, networking, dividends and reorganizations). In addition, we offer an omnibus accounting product that requires a high degree of handholding and an attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Associate, Client Support Services - Mutual Fund, Annuities, & Alternative Investments:
- Interacting with internal and external clients and delivering world class customer service
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Resolving inquiries/problems by using critical thinking, ingenuity, and collaboration in combination with established processes and procedures. (Problem solving and judgment are required to determine resolutions; scripting is not utilized)
- Conducting engaging conversations with customers while handling customer issues
- Working through customer conflict and providing resolutions in a positive manner
- Acting as an advocate for the client while balancing the interests of both BetaNXT and the respective client
- Working both independently and as a strong team player
- Performing effectively under pressure
- Logging and classifying all calls and requests in the call tracking database
- Filtering and escalating inquiries as appropriate
Skills and Experience of the Associate, Client Support Services:
- 2 years of customer service experience in the financial brokerage securities industry.
- We are looking for a results-oriented person who will take a proactive approach by using your practical experience to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Proven ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle shifting priorities.
