Description

Are you the friend who live-texts your group chat during a date to dissect every awkward pause? Do you have a PhD in decoding mixed signals and situationships? Do you firmly believe that ghosting should be considered a crime? If you answered yes, you might be our next U Up? Content Manager.

Betches Media is looking for a hilarious and creative social media expert to run the day-to-day operations of the U Up? Instagram account. This role is perfect for someone who is not only a social media pro but also an avid U Up? podcast listener — someone who understands the chaos of modern dating (and loves to laugh about it) and can turn the most relatable podcast moments into viral content.

The ideal candidate is fluent in red flags and can turn any dating disaster into a hilarious meme. They’ll bring creative ideas to the table to amplify the podcast — finding the best clips, coming up with interactive polls, discussion prompts, and engagement strategies that make our audience feel seen. Strong writing skills, an eye for trends, and a top-tier sense of humor are a must.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day content and operations of the U Up? Instagram account for 15-18 hours a week
• Be a dedicated listener of the U Up? podcast, identifying the best and most engaging moments from each episode to feature on social media
• Work closely with the podcast hosts and producers to create compelling social content that promotes the show and drives audience engagement
• Utilize social media tools (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Threads) to create funny and relatable original content around relationship topics and trends
• Develop new ways to engage the podcast audience — whether it’s through polls, Q&As, interactive stories, trending memes, or other creative formats
• Oversee community management, fostering a highly engaged audience by responding to comments and DMs in an on-brand and witty voice
• Collaborate with the affiliate and web teams to share articles and product recs on relationship content for the U Up? audience

Qualifications

• 2 years of social media design, storytelling, and strategy experience
• A demonstrated ability to produce engaging video and static content for social media
• Strong knowledge of podcast marketing, with a passion for growing listenership and engagement
• Experience identifying the most shareable and viral-worthy moments from podcasts or videos
• Familiarity with and strong enthusiasm for the entire Betches Media brand, especially U Up?
• A quick, creative thinker with an ideation mindset and a knack for thoughtful experimentation
• Experience using inShot and Canva is a plus

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25 from 15-18 hours per week.
