Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Clinical Leader to join our team at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and management of surgical patients throughout their hospital stay.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of three years' experience in the recovery room and one year of supervisory experience is required, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Responsibilities include supervising and guiding PACU staff, coordinating daily nursing activities, working collaboratively with anesthesia floor leaders, and resolving conflicts or problems that may develop.
- This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze staffing requirements, assign personnel, and ensure adequate staffing per shift and call coverage.
- The successful candidate will also serve as a flow coordinator, participate in oversight of nursing orientation for new employees, and provide support for monitoring competency requirements and license requirements of staff.
