Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Services Department Head to lead our team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care. This role requires a seasoned leader with excellent communication and management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve OR efficiency, throughput, and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination and patient experience.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a clinical leader, guiding and mentoring nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the recovery room, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Current BSN, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
