Reporting to the Director of Insurance and Claims Management – Professional, the Manager of Insurance Cash management – professional is responsible for the oversight cash management and the cash management team for all One BILH professional billing entities. This position has direct responsibility for all cash related areas of professional billing related to lockbox management for each entity, daily electronic and manual insurance cash posting, daily and monthly bank deposit to Epic posting reconciliation and reporting. Responsible for payor EFT and remittance set up, maintenance and monitoring. Works directly with the BILH chosen clearinghouse for updates and issues resolution. has a direct partnership with BILH finance teams for each professional entity as it relates to cash reconciliation and balancing. Has direct oversite of the resolution of insurance cash overpayments, credits and refunds. Responsible for Epic analysis build and usage and end user training. Responsible for cash monitoring, payor trends, and optimization of interdependent areas of Patient Financial Services. Oversees the operations and functions related to BILH professional billing activities through training and education activities as they pertain to system –wide quality, improvements and revenue cycle/system workflow initiatives. Provides guidance and direction to ensure BILH professional business entities are in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations as they pertain to areas of outlined responsibility. Serves as a primary point of contact for Service Line Directors, Managers and others regarding matters that relate to aspects of professional revenue, and specific professional billing processes and/or workflows.Job Description:
